The ornate spotting on these Florida Gar make them a very attractive addition to any predator tank. Their long body and alligator like snout are sure to peak the interest of any hobbyist. Fun fact, they are native to Florida right here in the United States.

Tank and Environment: Medium to Large aquarium as juveniles (55 Gallon +). XL Tank as adults.
Feeding: Anchor Essentials Freeze Dried Krill, Frozen Shrimp/Fish
Considerations: Florida Gar will typically occupy the top of the water column. They are predatory and will eat small fish if they can catch them but are otherwise fairly passive.
