Frequently Asked Questions

When Do We Ship Livestock?

Shipping is typically done Monday- Wednesday via UPS priority overnight.  We do not ship on Fridays or weekends.  It is crucial that all address information is correct and that no forwarding addresses are utilized.  No PO box addresses will be accepted.  Again, please make sure that all contact information is complete and accurate.

How do we ship livestock?

Livestock is quarantined, observed, and prepared for shipment prior to packing.  Delivery is provided via UPS priority overnight and typically arrives between 10:30am and noon the next day.  Tracking will be provided and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to be available to receive deliveries.  This is absolutely critical as temperature and travel time can affect the animals.  We will not ship if we believe a weather related incident or other circumstance may affect your delivery.

How do we ship dry goods?

Dry goods are carefully packaged and shipped via UPS ground.  Refunds for damaged dry goods are issued in the form of store credit minus shipping costs.  When possible, dry goods will be packed with livestock to save on shipping costs and overnighted.

How do we treat livestock prior to shipment?

Our job is to address issues before you receive your fish, so we take extra care in quarantining, medicating, and acclimating specimens to aquarium life prior to shipment.  All animals are purged prior to shipment to reduce waste in shipping water and ensure safe delivery.

Where are we located?

While there is currently no storefront, our livestock is housed at our facility in northern New Jersey. All livestock is acclimated, quarantined, and treated (if necessary) prior to shipment.  Local delivery may be an option with a minimum $150 total purchase.
