Antibiotic Duo Flake combines two popular fish antibiotics to provide a broad spectrum treatment against both gram positive and gram negative infections.  Using a combination of medications is often more effective than using a single product as we often do not have access to a lab or to a microscope to identify the exact bacteria affecting our fish.

Getting fish to ingest medication is as difficult as getting our kids to take their meds.  With these flavorful flakes fish often gobble them up and beg for more!

Non-toxic to invertebrates.

Common behavioral changes that indicate a bacterial infection include clamped fins, swollen eyes, gills held open, pumping gills and gulping through mouth, patchy coloration, change in swimming behavior, becoming shy or hiding, etc.

Effective against:  Both gram positive and gram negative bacterial ailments, such as Columnaris, Fin and Tail Rot, Fin & Tail Rot, Septicemia, Mouth Rot, Popeye and other diseased caused by Flavobacterium columnare, Haemophilus piscium, Aeromonas punctata, Aeromonas hydrophila, and Cytophaga aquatilis bacteria.

Treatment: Offer as the only food for 10-14 days. Closely monitor water parameters and do water changes as necessary if nitrifying bacteria are negatively affected.  If no improvement is noted, may be stopped after 5 days.
