An Australian Native, the Coal Grunter will add movement and personality to your home aquarium. This is an active species that will feed quite voraciously.

Considerations: The Coal Grunter is an attractive and hardy species. They can become quite aggressive towards smaller fish so choose tank mates carefully. We recommend a fairly large predatory type tank for these guys as they like to swim and will be the first to the dinner table when its feeding time.
