The Geophagus pyrocephalus is an earth eating cichlid from South America with vibrant color and a peaceful disposition.  This batch is a great size with an outstanding color profile.  Many consider the Red Head Tapajos the most beautiful Geophagus species.

Feeding: Anchor Essentials Bloodworm Flakes, Anchor Essentials Earthworm Flakes, Anchor Essentials Shrimp Cocktail.

Tank and Environment:  Medium Sized Aquarium (55Gallon+)

Considerations:  These Geophagus Pyrocephalus are incredibly impressive and make an attractive addition to any community or medium aggressive setup.  They prefer fine/sandy substrate as they will dig in their new habitat.
