Considerations: The Red Eye Puffer is a gorgeous and interactive addition to the aquarium. Small slow moving tank mates could be an issue as they can be quite nippy. We recommend making the pufferfish the focal point of the aquarium and putting smaller fast moving species along with them if you are going to attempt to add tank mates. Certain specimens will do best when kept alone.
