The Red Cheek Java Barb is a fast moving species that will certainly add a lot of action to your aquarium. Their shiny coloration, pronounced scales, brightly colored fins, and scarlet red cheeks make them an attractive addition to any aquarium.

Considerations:  Their peaceful temperament and schooling ability have made them very popular in the hobby.  semi aggressive, and even aggressive displays as they are often utilized as a dither fish to distract other predators.
