The Red Atabapo Pike Cichlid is an active and vibrant species with bright red coloration. Juveniles display more yellow, however, the red intensifies as the animal matures.

Feeding: Northfin Krill Pro Pellets, Frozen Blood Worms, Anchor Essentials Cichlid Pellets.
Environment: Medium (55 Gallon as juvenile, larger as adult)
Considerations: The Red Atabapo Pike is one of the fiester species of Crenicichla and should be housed accordingly. Good water quality is important to maintain health and color.
