This prehistoric bottom dwelling species has an incredibly unique appearance.  They are an African species are make an excellent addition to any predatory/medium aggressive style aquarium setup. These are captive raised.

Tank and Environment: Medium aquarium (40 Gallon as juvenile, larger as adult)

Feeding:  Anchor Essentials Bloodworm Mini Sticks, Anchor Essentials Bottom Feeder Frenzy, Market Shrimp, Frozen Blood Worms.

Considerations: The Polypterus Endlicheri is a hardy species with a prehistoric dragon like appearance. A predator, it will eat small fish that may fit in its mouth.
