The Parrot Pacu is a hardy and active species.  They are known for their metallic sheen, bright red fins, and downturned snout, thus the name Parrot Pacu.  This is a South American Species and is rarely seen in the hobby.

Mature Size: Approx 10”

Feeding:  Anchor Essentials Shrimp Pellets, Anchor Essentials Bloodworm Flakes.

Tank and Environment: Medium aquarium (55+ Gallon) at current size.

Considerations: Parrot Pacu are generally peaceful and should be fed a varied diet consisting of high protein foods and foods that include plant matter. They may eat live plants so please consider this before purchasing.
