The Freshwater Moray or "Indian Mud Moray" Eel is a very intriguing addition to the aquarium.  With its elongated body shape, unique swimming pattern, and striking coloration it will certainly hold your attention as an aquarium enthusiast.  

Size: Approx 6.5-8”

Mature Size: 18+”

Feeding:  Frozen seafood.  Shrimp, mussel, clams etc. 

Tank and Environment: Medium to Large Sized Aquarium

Considerations:  While presently being kept in pure freshwater, it is speculated that freshwater Moray begin to appreciate brackish conditions as they age.  Frozen foods must be offered in order to get this species to thrive.
