A true rare in the hobby, the Giant Flametail Gourami’s personality is as big as its growth size. They are long-lived fish and are very rewarding to keep as they frequently begin to recognize their owners at feeding times.  With striking coloration, many consider the Flametail Gourami the most highly sought after Gourami species.

Considerations: Flametail Gourami have a big appetite and will readily take prepared foods.  Their temperament varies from fish to fish and can range from medium aggressive to more aggressive as they age.
