The Freshwater Eel Catfish is known for its active personality and eel like tail. This is truly a unique specimen and has the barbels of a catfish with the slender body of an eel.

Considerations: Eel Tail Catfish are generally peaceful and will inhabit the bottom of the water column. They are active feeders and can also be kept in groups. These are being kept in pure freshwater unlike some other species of Neosilurus.
