The Tetraodon lineatus, also known as the Nile Puffer, is a species of pure freshwater pufferfish, from the genus Tetraodon, which is endemic to Africa.
Size: Approx 5″
Mature Size: Approx 18″
Tank and Environment: (55 Gal min at Current Size. XXL tank at full size)
Feeding: Anchor Essentials Freeze Dried Krill, frozen clams on a half shell, and frozen market shrimp.
Considerations: The Fahaka Puffer is a gorgeous and interactive addition to the aquarium. With sharp incisors it is important to occasionally include shells in the puffers diet so that he will keep his teeth trimmed. We recommend making the pufferfish the focal point of the aquarium and not combining him with other fish.
