These Spangled Gudgeon are beefy and unique in their appearance. Their spangled color and unique body shape make them a very intriguing addition for the avid hobbyist. This is an Australian species.

Considerations: These Spangled Gudgeon will inhabit the bottom of the water column and generall keep to themselves. They are a relatively hardy species and can tolerate a wide range of water parameters. They will swallow small fish if they fit in their mouth but are otherwise peaceful.
