Considerations: The Albino Geophagus Heckelli is a relatively hardy species that adjusts well in groups or pairs. They will dig in the substrate so planted aquariums are not ideal for this species. They can generally tolerate a variety of tankmates so long as they are not small enough to fit into the fishes mouth.
